The Forged Olive Santoku knife 18 cm is the Japanese version of the chef's knife. The word 'santoku' means 'three virtues', a reference to the three cutting functions that the knife can perform: fine, slices, and cubes. Due to this versatility, it is called an all-rounder in the kitchen. The Forged Olive knives are made from Japanese 440C steel with a hardness of 58 Rockwell. All Forged knives are hand-forged, have a blade thickness of 2 mm, and a cutting angle of 18 degrees. The 18 cm Olive Santoku knife is packaged in a luxury wooden box and comes with a 10-year warranty. Also available in a 14 cm variant.
